On the SIAF project, my role as a freelance UX/UI designer was to relaunch the corporate website and refine the brand identity to reflect the institution’s forward-looking vision in automation and research.
Challenge: SIAF’s existing brand guidelines were primarily offline-focused, lacking flexibility for digital communication. The challenge was to modernize the UX/UI and translate the visual identity into a cohesive, accessible, and scalable online experience that better represented SIAF’s innovative and academic spirit. Process: I led remote discovery and Miro collaboration sessions to align goals, map user journeys, and define the site’s information architecture. Using wireframes and basic interactive prototypes, I validated design decisions and navigation flow before moving into visual design. I developed a modular design system, adapted the color palette and typography for digital use, and optimized layouts for clarity and responsiveness. In parallel, I collaborated with SIAF’s internal graphic designer, supporting them in updating the brand guidelines and transferring the new visual concept across print and digital materials. Continuous client feedback ensured alignment between design, usability, and brand expression. Results: The relaunch delivered a modern, intuitive, and coherent website that successfully bridged SIAF’s offline identity with its digital presence. The project received very positive feedback from both the client and academic speakers, highlighting its clarity, usability, and visual refinement. The updated design system and brand consistency strengthened SIAF’s communication and long-term scalability. Client: SIAF Agency: PAKD
