On the Big Shoes project, my role as a UX/UI designer was to optimise the Shopify E-commerce platform, enhancing the user experience, visual design, and marketing performance to strengthen the brand’s digital presence and drive conversions.
Challenge: Big Shoes needed an optimized Shopify e-commerce experience to improve conversions, user flow, and brand perception. The challenge was to modernize the online store’s UX/UI while enhancing marketing performance and ensuring a consistent, scalable digital presence.
Process: As a freelance designer, I led the full redesign and optimization of the Shopify platform. I refined the user journey, restructured navigation for clarity and speed, and implemented a cohesive visual system aligned with the brand’s identity. Alongside the design work, I optimized product presentation, integrated marketing tools, and established data-driven workflows for SEO, promotions, and performance tracking. Continuous testing and maintenance ensured a seamless user experience across devices.
Results: The redesign delivered a cleaner, faster, and more engaging e-commerce platform that increased conversion rates and improved customer retention. The updated UX/UI and integrated marketing strategy strengthened the brand’s online presence and scalability for future growth.
