Challenge: Finnova, a Swiss banking software specialist since 1974 with over 400 employees, holds the largest share of the Swiss banking software market. Their existing corporate website no longer reflected the company’s innovation leadership, lacked clarity in structure, and struggled with scalability for new features and integrations. The challenge was to redesign the platform with a future-proof architecture while delivering a user-friendly experience that clearly communicated expertise and offerings.
Process: In the pre-project phase, I led workshops, stakeholder interviews, and UX research to identify audience needs and business priorities. This informed the creation of a new information architecture and smart design concepts, introducing fresh neon color accents and a redesigned logo for stronger brand recognition. The website was built on Craft CMS, enabling flexible content management and easy integration of peripheral systems. UX/UI processes were applied to refine navigation, digital consulting tools, and audience-specific journeys. Special features included HR tool integration and a digital product catalogue connected directly to Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Results: The redesigned website provided a clear, scalable, and engaging platform that strengthened Finnova’s market presence and facilitated ongoing expansion with new digital features. The collaborative process ensured alignment across stakeholders, resulting in a solution praised for both design and functionality.
